1. Cover Girl, Don't Cover Boy - Dallas Dellaforce

Instagram - @dallasdellaforce

I'm unsure whether he followed me first, or if I followed him. However I am pleased I follow him as each piece that he posts is very different from the previous. I take it he is a performance artist from Australia who specialises in drag and avant garde costumes.

Her work is an insight on the persuit of finding glamour through an intimate journey of exploration through the glamour and all of it's incarnations. Her show's intricately blends performance art, drag, burlesque whilst drawing inspiration from high fashion and pop. culture.

Just today he posted some photographs on instagram by Jon McRae. The way that these photographs juxtaposes genders is fantastic. The camp and provocative garments and the wild sassy blonde hair contrasts beautifully against Dellaforce's adonis like sculpted body and face.

Another reason why I admire Dellaforce is his sickening make up artist skills. I find it both intriguing and fascinating how he can transform himself from seomthing that defines masculinity into something as beautiful and feminine as his alter ego Dellaforce is. I know myself it takes a lot of work to perfect sculpting the face into something else, but that is the reason why I love make up as much as I do, as it is a facade to take on any alter ego you want. I love how you can paint your face and BAM you are another character, the endless possibilities goes on!

*please note I do not own any of the photographs within in this post*
