Easter Break and Update.

Finally Easter break is finally here and we can kick back from Uni life and take a little bit of time to chill back and recuperate. I feel like that I haven't been back to Uni that long, however after a few family problems - I feel that finally I'm back on track. Over the past few months I haven't really been mad over buying beauty products, there is one simple reason and that is because I bought too many over the christmas period - so I am trying my very best to use them up before my bank card takes another hammering.

On the high and might notes of hammering my bank card, in the place of buying beauty products and make up - I have wen't crazy over buying clothes and bags. A few weeks ago I had a mad moment at around 4am in the morning (god only knows what I was doing up at that time), I logged onto Zara... first big mistake, and ordered £150 worth of clothing *cries*. Seems a lot, however when my package came I had only ordered 4 pieces. Two shirts and two trousers. Wow... well when I tried them on stupidly I ordered the wrong sizes. Ordering online from stores I NORMALLY purchase from I feel quite safe and at home, however I ordered Large in both shirts thinking they would fit snug (as we all know Zara are very unforgiving), however they fit me like a tent... awkward. I then tried the trousers on and they were yet again another size too big. Maybe I'm being a bit too unfair on myself, maybe Zara has finally started to cater for the big girl, that question remains unanswered. I therefore returned the clothes back to the store and bought the appropriate sizes, to figure out that I didn't really love the clothes, especially not for £150 anyways.

On to the second big mistake that happened in the early hours... I stumbled on Balenciagas website. When I say stumbled, I really mean I willingly logged myself on and added a cheeky little clutch bag into my basket. I feel that I have been forever looking for the perfect 'going out bag'. Something that wasn't too feminine (as I'm a man, if you haven't guessed) and something that is practical, yet looks beautiful when pieced with anything. Obviously, being todays society a man clutch is probably unheard especially in stores like Topman, Riverisland and so on. The only place worth looking is their female counterparts, where the majority of the time you have to be extremely lucky in terms of style as womens clutch bags can look a bit too feminine. Which is fine, if thats your style, however it is not mine. Not at the moment anyways. I decided to gander at the Balenciaga bags, as my Twenty First (cries) birthday is looming, I wanted to see if there were any bags in the price range that my mum and stepdad would pay for. After all I do want something that's some sort of a keepsake don't I? It was then it obtained my attention, like a fleck of black glitter dancing in the moon light. The Balenciaga M Clip clutch. Simplicity at it's finest at the eye watering price of £295. I must say when it came I felt like a mother meeting her baby for the first time, I realise how crazy that must sound but I just fell in love. I use it pretty much every day, whether it is going to the shops for a coffee or a spot of clothes shopping, or a night out for a casual drink and cocktails. It is black, however I notice that on Mr Porter they do it in an array of other colours, such as turquoise, burgundy and of course, my fav... black.

Over the next few days I'll keep yous updated with my current projects that I have going on.
