1 Trade show, 6 cities... two days.
New York | London | Vancouver | Sydney | Toronto | LA
Me and my friend Amy, will be taking London by storm ;) we plan to tour around London, going down new Bond St (Amy wants a new watch), visiting Illamasqua and then attending imats :D
To anyone who doesn't know what imats is, it's basically a huge trade show that takes place in each of the cities listed above. It goes on for 2-3 days. It's a trade show in which companies such as mac, inglot, lime crime etc go and sell their products for discounted prices. As well as discount products there are classes, competitions and events hosted by beauty gurus, established make up artists and companies.
To survive the craze, it's best to follow these simple steps to ensure you enjoy the whole experience.
1. Take lunch with you! A simple sandwich will do. It's super expensive inside.
2. Be prepared and go early! Popular stands such as MAC, Crown, Inglot etc. Sell out fast!
3. Before going write down a list of all the products YOU NEED , this way you can beat the hassle of swatching like crazy on the day, and getting things you dont need over the things you do!
4. Take cash and card, some vendors have funny card machines and they might not accept your card.
5. Wear comfortable shoes! You'll be standing all day in queues waiting for products ;)
6. Remember to enjoy yourself and experience the whole package.

Amy and I have officially booked our tickets ;) Imats, Train and Hotel - So we are definately going! If you see is come say Hi :) we don't bite :P
