Mirror, Mirror on the wall... who's the fiercest of them all?

Hey guys, I am back! Sorry for the little hiatus, but it was my birthday on Sunday and me and two friends Emily and Ryan went to Northern Pride on the Saturday, it was a great day and I'll post a few photos that we took after this post!

I received some gorgeous gifts of both Ryan and Emily. One of my gifts off Emily was the Snow White and the Huntsman Palette by Diego Dalla Palma. I hadn't really heard of DDP until Emily bought me the palette but after a tiny bit of researching, it is an Italian Cosmetics company that was created in Milan in the 1970's. It's very similar to MAC cosmetics ( the lipstick actually smells like MACs lipsticks). Anyways, they are of a professional make up quality, and I would definitely be interested in trying more!

Swatches
The Palette contains a good mix of natural shades that come in shimmer and matte finishes. They are pretty good in terms of pigmentation, and would be definately something I'd recommend to a make up newbie! The eyeliner is amazing and is one of the blackest liners I own, and the lipstick is a gorgeous satiny finish!

Snow, Fairest, Shield, Destiny, Mirror Mirror, Battleground

All of the shades are Snow White and the huntsman inspired, and being a massive fan - I am loving it! My favourite out of the shades would have to be mirror mirror and Destiny.

Snow - A lovely shimmery highlight colour - can be compared to MACs shroom.
Fairest - A matte nude colour - lovely as a lid colour.
Shield - A shimmery antiqued gold, can be compared to MACs Tempting.
Destiny - A lovely Nudey Salmon Matte colour - I mix this with Shield to create a transition colour.
Mirror Mirror - Shimmery darkened Bronze, can be compared to MACs Mulch.
Battleground - Dark Matte brown, works well as a crease colour and outer V. Similar to MACs Handwritten!

Dark Night - Wicked Queen
Dark Knight - The black eyeliner of the palette is a gorgeous and creamy texture! Definitely a must have.

Wicked Queen - Probably the reason why Emily bought me this palette :P But it's a lovely cherry red!

Day - Night Make Up Looks.
Apologies for my botch job of an eyebrow, I havent shaved it since saturday, but I used battlegroud to shade and set my pencil.

On the lid I used Fairest, and then used a mix of fairest and Shield to create the transition colour. I then used Snow as the brow highlight.

I then used mirror mirror to line my eyes to finish my subtle day time look.

For my night time look I simply added to my look, for the lid I added Shield on top of my existing colours and blended. I then added Mirror Mirror into the crease and blended upwards concentrating to the area where my brow starts.

I then increased the brow highlight by adding more Snow.

For the liner I used Black Knight and then blended it into shield creating a sultry smoke effect. I then added battle ground into my Outer V and blended in with the eyeliner.

My Over all Impression about this palette

I love it! I am unsure where my friend bought it from, however I have sourced a few stockists that still sell this amazing palette! This is a palette definitely worth having, as the lipstick along costs £20!
