Okay so admittedly this makes me sound like a bit of a sad act (which, admittedly, I am…) but I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for new releases in make-up ever!
A week on Monday I start my next three years as a student, therefore money is on my mind. Budgeting is something that’s excessively difficult when you’re still young, and once you get to University it can become a real problem for some people. For this reason, I’m constantly on the look-out for offers in the Fashion and Beauty markets- because lets face it, if you’re interested in something you can’t give it up completely just because you’re budgeting! So as you may have noticed from previous posts, I’m constantly looking for cheap but good quality produce.
My favourite budget cosmetics brand is Make Up Academy- or MUA- an independent company that are stocked in Superdrug in the UK and also online HERE. With both a Pro range and a £1 line, the brand is dangerously cheap- and 9/10 times the products are amazing quality. Nothing is above £8, most things are between £1 and £4. I recently purchased an amazing eyeshadow palette from the brand for a mere £4 (review coming soon!) and generally I love all of the products that I have tried- in particular the brand’s eyeliners and blushers from the £1 range.
I follow the company on TWITTER and FACEBOOK as well as reading their BLOG, and it was on these social platforms that I discovered they’re bringing out some new products at the end of this month- to say I was overjoyed would be a serious understatement! So without further a-due, I shall take you through the super exciting releases, coming very soon to Superdrug stores and Online!
Intense Kisses lipgloss: Currently available NOW in store only, these lip glosses are a steal at only £2each. With a ample range of shades ranging from classic reds and pinks to on-trend nudes, these glosses promise high-intensity colour and glossy shine. I’m going to have call in to Superdrug (or go online HERE!) and pick one up to try! My favourite shade is Sealed With a Kiss, as I feel this could be a great tone for the Nude beauty trend in Autumn.
Pro Brow Kit: At last, a brow kit that doesn’t cost the earth! Featuring a light and dark powder, setting wax and a brow highlight alongside a tiny pair of tweezers and a miniature brush- this is the perfect kit at only£3.50! Honestly, I’m a little dubious about the colour of the brow powders, as I have blonde eyebrows and struggle to find a shade to match but i will certainly be taking a closer look at these as I think they’re perfect to travel around with!
