Louboutin Lady Claws.

Louboutins are gorgeous and pretty, but so are their price tag! If I were to buy a pair, I'd pick a pair that would be timeless and would never go out of fashion. E.G A nude pair.

I have chosen to go for a work appropriate tutorial, basing the idea of my nails off a nude pair, obviously. This works best on longer fingernails or falsies. I have used falsies for the purpose of this tutorial, as my natural nails aren't long enough.

Step 1

Always add a base coat to your nails to help protect those pretty lady claws. I use OPI's base coat, but any is fine.

Step 2

The next thing I do is  to add two coats of Don't Pretzel my buttons, which was apart of the Germany Collection. This is  a gorgeous pink undertoned nude. It isn't too dark, and it isn't verging on cream. It's perfect!

Step 3

I then add a top coat of OPI's top coat, to make it all glossy. I do this so my nail resembles the patent leather of the shoe ;) CLEVER EYY!
Step 4

Here comes the trickiest part of this tutorial, take a red and paint underneath your nails,  this will resemble the red sole of the Louboutin shoes. I have used a glossy nail polish as I don't own a matte red. If you get any polish on your finger DON'T WORRY! You haven't ruined your master piece. Simply take some nail polish remover and apply it to a Q tip and just gently remove the overpainted under nail.
Step 5

This is a little illustration to show that I have applied a coat on top that makes the nail polish become matte. I have used OPI's Matte Nail envy. Wait for it to dry and you have a set of Louboutin lady claws.

I am no means a nail technician, so have fun and have a go! Experiment with the colours on the top, for inspiration check out Louboutin's online website ;)
